During the TUF 8 season, Vinicius “Vinny” Magalhaes told his coach Frank Mir that Coach Minotauro Nogueira’s BJJ was just “basic”. Seeing it as an insult, Coach Nogueira got into a verbal altercation with Vinny. To back up Nogueira’s style of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Daniel Valverde represented Team Nogueira in the grappling superfights at the UFC Fan Expo during UFC 100.

Man Vinny was (maybe still is) full of himself! He was passed and didn’t really do anything significant in this match.
The guy is talented but still.. I’ve learned that you’ve got be humble and it doesn’t matter whether you are a champion or a beginner.
