Oh man… That’s sucks.. I’d like to see him in the ring against Brown again. I think that it would be a fantastic 3rd rematch.

I went on the forums after the fight and so many ppl talked shit on Faber……I couldn’t believe it. Faber fought at least 3 rounds with a fucked up right hand and I think he hurt his left too but I guess it wasn’t broken.

I think that deserves a hell of a lot of credit especially against a killer like Brown.

3

Unbelievable effort by Faber to fight through this one. Hope he heals well and comes back strong.

4

trow dem bows!!!

5

stop making exscuses for faber , he lost if a broken hand would have made a differance he wouldnt have fought

6

Faber had TWO broken bones there. Brown should have worked the hand for a quick sub, and maybe a scream from Faber. It’s a fight, not a tennis match. Get it over with ASAP.

7

Brown was not able to finish Faber EVENTHOUGH Faber broke his hand. So what does that tell you about Brown??

8

That was a good fight. You have to admire Faber. That was incredible, to be able to continue fighting with an injury like that. I really believe that had he not broken his hand, he would have out hustled Brown to gain back his belt. Both these guys are champions. Surely, there will be a third fight at some time in the future.
Can’t wait to see Forrest beat Silva. That will be a great fight. Can’t way to see Henderson shut up Bisping. Can’t wait to see Florian beat Penn. Can’t wait to see Mir beat Lesner again. Can’t wait to see Lyoto beat Jackson.

Not really and avid WEC follower but i watch most of the main events on here Ive watched pride and UFC since they started as well as strikeforce .. faber is in incredible shape he sets a crazy pace in each fight other than that i dont see him matching up with brown in any aspect other than conditioning i think a 3rd fight would be very boring and draw less fans than this event personally think he is way over rated and if he gained ten pounds and entered the lightweight divison in the UFC he would have never been champ or prob been given a title shot once let a lone twice

And to think Mike Brown couldn’t put him away, even with a right hand advantage. Urijah showed more heart than anything, since all he was able to use were his elbow strikes, which he did as much as possible. I felt so bad for him knowing he was burdoned with a handicap, and Mike Brown was completely healthy. I read how Mike Brown retained the belt by beating Faber. Well, that wasn’t very fair, since Faber had only one hand. And he (Brown) still couldn’t put Faber down!!!

I can’t wait ’til Faber’s hand is healed and he is healthy enough to fight again. I can’t wait to watch Faber Brown III. If Faber did that well with one limb, I can imagine Brown going down. There is just as good a possibility of Faber winning the next one as Brown has.

Recall the end of the fight, where Faber had Brown in a Choke hold and if he could only have use of that hand, he probably would have pulled it off and submitted Brown. That close. wow. –rty

All’s fair in a fight. It’s not as if Faber went in with a broken hand; he got it broken during the fight. Exploit any weakness you can.

“stop making excuses for faber , he lost if a broken hand would have made a differance he wouldnt have fought ”

SERIOUSLY? Whoever you are, your an idiot. I think a broken hand makes a big difference,i doubt you ever fought before but if Brown couldnt finish Faber with a handicap, then i doubt he can last Faber in an even match. But a fight is a fight, whatever happens, Brown came out on top. Good fight, Good fighters!

Mike Brown sucks. Champion? He couldn’t put two punches together. His fearsome attack? Jab, jab…missed hook. Faber wasn’t even defending! Jab jab…miss. What champion? It was like watching me fight Tyson. He was battling a cripple and BARELY winning. I mean, Faber wasn’t even punching back! Has Brown ever heard of combos, kicks, elbows, body punches? No. Jab jab…miss. What a loser. I can’t wait till Faber recovers, walks right in there and cocks a real bomb. Boom. Connection. Over.

14

If I recall correctly, Brown put Faber down just fine in the first match. Faber didn’t come in with a broken hand, it got broken in the process. He lost, fair and square.. and there’s not a thing that’s going to change the fact that Faber lost to Brown, not once, but twice.

15

agreed with bjj… faber was fine in the first match and got TKO’d in the first round. he tried to strike with brown in the first match and got caught with a counter. he couldnt strike in the 2nd match and avoided most of the damage from counter punches and lasted all 5 rounds. his whole fight style changed when he broke the hand he even said after the fight he was reduced to elbows instead of punches. just because he survived 5 rounds with a broken hand doesnt mean he would have won with a non broken hand. as you could see in the first match
