Both of these guys are great fighters. It is sad to see after such a great fight the decision go differently than most of us saw it. Both of these guys are class acts.

I’m glad this video is out there so people can stop saying the UFC made the judges pick machida to win… even though the judges dont even work for the UFC

the reason why you think of the kicks by rua is because of JOE .,.,., but the punch comes first to the head….

Milo you’re in a massive minority and trying to blame joe rogan for the decision of the fight is ridiculous, the crowd weren’t listening to the commentary and from the booing it was clear who they thought won…

ok….I didn’t see a MMa fight….that shit was a style vs style tournament based on points….regardless of the rounds…there was no convincing winner… therefore Machida retains the belt..period

I think there is an posibility that the outcome off this fight is maby fixt, not by the ufc but maby by the gambeling industrie. there was a lot off money bet on this fight and it was like dana sad a 6 to 1 or something. that means the bookies would lose a lot of money if shogun won the fight. And I think alot of people bet on shogun because of the rates and shogun is the Ex Pride champion it would be a great bed. What do you guys think about this Theory

After watching the fight 3 times and with no volume, I got:
1 round, 10-9 machida
2 round, 10-9 machida
3 round, 10-9 machida
4 round, 10-9 rua
5 round, 10-9 rua
Final points: 48-47 Machida WON!!
Shogun did nothing to beat Machida, no takedowns, many kicks and most of them were skipped and not landed
Machida scored more points because he was more accurate
If you wanna be the champ, then beat the champ!
Hope there’s a rematch soon!!

Dana White is an absolute idiot for saying tht he thought Shogun won. That’s absolutely not his place. He often acts like a little boy who thinks he’s a tough guy. I’d like to see Dana’s sad self in the cage. Little girl. Even by his own words, he had the fight “2-2, with 1 round that could have gone either way”. Well Dana, you stupid jack-!@#, a challenger needs to decisively take away a belt. You…yourself, are saying that you scored it 2-2 with the 1st round indecisive? Then shut your whole, you little girl. Dana White is the reason that the UFC doesn not get the respect that it should. I love MMA and think Dana White is one of the worst things about the sport. He thinks he’s a pimp, he doesn’t know the technical elements of a fight as well as he should, he’s an ego-maniac…now all he’s trying to do is sell a re-match. It was a close fight and it probably should have went Shogun’s way…barely. But barely ofen isn’t enough to take away a title. Those of us who have been watching various forms of competitive fighting for many years before Dana White’s UFC already know this. Dana’s a little girl.
