You could have the weakest, most unskilled, most frail person in the world be the most appreciative person anyone has ever seen, but if they can't fight, they're not going to make it anywhere, and that includes the UFC. Unfortunately the main thing about fighting is……. fighting, and in the professional fighting world, how appreciative some one is isn’t a factor. You could have the weakest, most unskilled, most frail person in the world be the most appreciative person anyone has ever seen, but if they can’t fight, they’re not going to make it anywhere, and that includes the UFC.

Dent’s scrappy fighting style was the only high point I can think of from team US. However, I do feel badly for Dan Henderson for getting stuck with a bunch of arrogant women. The US team’s gossiping and backbiting was worse than an office full of catty-women. The US team’s fighters seemed to be outclassed and out of their league from the start. I hate to burst your ego-bubble, but show-boating and taunting are NOT characteristics of a classy fighter. I kept expecting for team US to get it together in some dramatic fashion, but was sorely disappointed. Maybe next season they can have UFC Girls vs Team US. My money will be on the UFC Girls in everything but cattiness. Team US would be the sure fire winner in that department. As for the future of team US, I would like to see Santino DeFranco, Richie Whitson, Jason Pierce, and Mark Miller get more time in the UFC. They seem to be more appreciative of the opportunity that they had, and seem to have less of an entitlement attitude.
