what an awful fight… Is it just me or were there more commercials than usual during this episode?

I’m sorry, but that’s one of the most embarrassing MMA fights I’ve ever had the misfortune to watch… these guys should pack up and go home now…

Pathetic fight.

The best is Rashad screaming out: PLEASE! PLEASE JAMES!
I have to admit that this season is losing me…

Do you guys know why wes’ record is marked as 2-0? I’ve seem him lose fights on the internet before… Is there a certain level that the promotion has to be at for certain fights to count…?

I watched this one for about 3 minutes. Between this fight and the last one, I’m done watching this season of TUF. Absolutely pathetic.

One Man’s Garbage Is Another Man’s Treasure.
I´m from Germany, and we don´t have those kind of shows here. So i´m lovin every second of it.
You´re right. The fight hadn´t much quality, but still i found it absolutely exciting to see who would come out the winner.
And i can´t wait for next weeks episode. Good matchup by Rashad.
He can only win. If his man beats Kimbo, it would devastate Rampage.
And if Roy loses, Rashad don´t need to bother with him anymore.

To each his own Tyler, I’m glad you enjoy the show, and generally I do too… I’m just a bit disgusted at the quality of fights seen so far… Although you are from Germany and maybe MMA is not as popular there yet, you can still type ‘MMA’ into any video search engine and every result will be 10x more impressive than this fight… Also, i agree whole heartedly with the last 3 lines of your post…
On another note, I’m a Kimbo fan because I like his personality and willingness to learn, but I’ll be VERY surprised if he beats Roy Nelson… Roy is experienced enough to get the fight to the ground, and he’s a great wrestler…
Why Rampage didn’t set Kimbo up to fight one of Rashad’s strikers for this episode, I have no idea. Maybe the show told him not to play Kimbo too early for ratings, but I haven’t seen Rampage make a single intelligent decision so far this season…. and thats coming from a Rampage fan…

Dude most of TUF start off like this then the training comes in and thats when it gets more exciting.

I don’t know what fight those judges were watching but I don’t know how you could say McSweeny won EITHER of those rounds let alone both. Shivers rocked the crap out of McSweeny to the point that McSweeny was using the Monty Python strategy: “run away! run away!” If that wasn’t happening, Wes was taking james down and attempting americanas, or they were standing around tired looking at each other. At what point was james WINNING? To me the rejections of kicks with punches to the face and takedowns with submission attempts shows more aggression and octagon control than a couple of kicks to the legs that don’t add up to a “TIMBER!!!” effect.

To me it was obvious that he won both rounds…

McSweeney that is…
