Well, now…
He sure showed Nate, didn’t he? Republicans, I guess. I had faith in Sonnen winning this battle and he didn’t let me down. I like both fighters, and it really was hard to pick one over the other, so I just picked the one I felt had the best chance of winning. Nate will come back. He fought the wrong opponent this time. One thing about Chael is he is open and honest. He talks with class. Never acting condescending, but humble and grateful. How can you not pull for him?

last two posts are correct, chael was not wanting any of the stand up, look how nate cut him from the bottom! imagine if he kept it standing! and yes silva will destroy sonen easily, he will not be controled either on the ground, it’s a joke anyway chael gets a title shot, after maia schooled him, maia was supposed to be silva next “big” chanllenge lol! maia then got destroyed by nate, nate is the only one who deserves a title shot (he’s shown far greater improvement then the rest of the mw division) besides hendo, and he’s gone to SF now…..it’s a joke that vitor gets a title shot too…

does it matter at all that maia beat sonnen? marquardt beat maia then sonnen beat marquardt… sonnen gets the title shot because he seems to be the most durable of the three. it’s no wonder he didn’t want to stand with nate because thats not his game. when does he stand with anyone? he’s a ground and pound fighter. i think he stayed busy enough to avoid the lay and pray criticism. a finish would’ve been nice; i think that would’ve really earned him the title shot. i personally think maia is just as qualified for the title shot as anybody. nate lost a shutout decision and chael lost by submission, but maia just got caught by a crazy punch. it was bad luck. when you’re airborne from a right hand it’s hard for anybody to recover. he showed in his last fight that he can fight on his feet. still, i don’t think any of them can hang with silva. i sure hope a good vitor shows up and really gives him a run for his money.
