Mike Tyson Referees MMA Fight Video

Mike Tyson as a MMA referee at WCFC. He obviously doesn’t know what’s going on on the ground but this makes me wonder about an Olympics triathlon for MMA. What I mean is this: Fighters will compete at the Olympic level in Boxing, Wrestling, & Judo. This can introduce them into the sport of MMA, especially if they only have experience in one discipline. What do you think?

interesting suggestion mate, but they would never allow that in the olympics…plus at the olympic level I actually enjoy the skill shown in a single discipline at a time. I think if you got people training 3 different disciplines you would get a bunch of average competitors…sort of what happens in the real triathlon, in that they aren’t the fastest or the best cyclists or swimmers.

However, I think seeing some BJJ in the olympics wouldn’t be such a bad idea…or maybe even kickboxing. But separate not in a combined fashion.

it could never be in the olympics because it would be too many fights in a short amount of time and plus you can’t half ass mma.

Mike Tyson is gonna get somebodies shit broke, or possibly allow enough time being choked to cause brain damage.

that fool didn’t even know where to stand. somebody really needs to step in. everybody in the arena saw the guy tappin and tyson sits there like george bush.

i give tyson three months before he says fuck it and puts the gloves back on and does mma.

Some wrestlers (forget who) say that freestyle & greco-roman should include submissions. Judo has submissions and its an olympic sport. The concept of pinning your opponent is great. I also think submissions should be included though.
