Brown didn’t look himself… he looked slow and not willing to throw more punches.

Well Jon, if you would have been watching MMA for longer than a year, then you would have known that Mike brown already has fought in the UFC vs Genki Sudo

Impressive. Didn’t think Aldo would match Brown’s strength, and he stalemated every move. Deserving champion.
Man…everybody’s a wanna-be expert.
Aldo has not fought Faber twice, or at all (yet). Read the posts thoroughly before commenting.
And just because Brown had one undercard appearance in the UFC doesn’t mean he has been “in” the UFC roster as a regular fighter…he was never asked back, so clearly he wasn’t. I’m assuming that’s what Jon meant.

Aldo is a straight up killer. He kills you, he kills me. Kill.

jose aldo is best since andersen silva, nobody can beat these two, simply amazing, mike looked slow cuz aldo was so fast.

Mike Brown looked really sluggish and couldn’t execute his wrestling takedowns cause of Jose Aldo’s T-defense. I think this threw Brown’s mental state off causing him to make a mistake and lose the match. Both very skilled fighters.

funny how many of you try to make excuses for him, it doesn’t matter if aldo kidnapped browns family and was holding them till after the fight brown fucking lost and that’s all there is to it, you all say well he wasn’t himself and blah blah blah faber broke his fucking hand against brown and couldn’t finish a guillotine that he had brown in because he couldn’t grab his broken hand to finish it, is that brown’s fault? no but we know what “would” of happened if faber’s hand didn’t break, either way, faber lost, just like brown has now LOST

damn, I can’t wait to see Aldo vs. Urijah. I’m sure it’ll be a better fight than this one.

I didnt know you could punch to the back of the head in the WEC.
Mazagatti is still the worst ref to even ref MMA.

guys brown is a great fighter but he was simply outclassed here, its not that complicated. stop making shitty excuses. i can definitely see aldo cleaning out this division much like anderson and gsp.

“I didnt know you could punch to the back of the head in the WEC.”
there was some to the back of the head but most of those shots looked pretty clean to me.
“Mazagatti is still the worst ref to even ref MMA.”
Hell no, that would be Miragliotta.

Dude I have been an MMA fan for a long long time…I mean put it this way, I’m from long island and was the video guy for Matty “The Terra” Serra when he was fighting in small local venues, undefeated and straight crushing guys. To offer my opinion on this fight i’ll say this…Yes Aldo is amazingly fast, his muay tai skills looked awesome. However, I’ll refer you to Rich Franklin VS Anderson Sylva one. Sylva destroyed Franklin with a mua tai knees and elbow and won the fight that way. In the rematch it was all strikes, no muay tai yet the same result. In this case I do not think it was an excuse . Brown looked slow but moreso apprehensive. I think many fights are lost because men give their opponent too much respect….also Aldo’s takedown defense has huge holes in it…Brown just didnt see them…In a rematch beleive it or not I got brown by K.O.! Call me crazy.

Brown definitely did not look himself…
