I was really pulling for Kang in this fight. Bisping would still be destroyed by Hendo and Anderson

Wow, Bisping really turned it on. I’m a Canadian and I was rooting for Kang, but good for Bisping, he needed this win.

i wonder if bisping suspects his son might be gay.
boy was clapping like a fluttering pigeon…

Well, he’s like 6 and standing in front of a million people, maybe he was a bit nervous, eh? He looked pretty normal to me. You on the other hand manage to humiliate yourself while your all by yourself infront of your computer…

Bisbing started a little slow but what a second round. I have never seen him fight that well.

I thought when Bisbing ended up on his back he would be in trouble with Kang. Hardly any damage. Great Job Bisbing.

Wow…Bisbing’s hip escapes back to half or full guard against this BB in JJ were fantastic!…so was his GNP once he got top position…relentless. I was a little surprised at him backing off of Kang once it went back up standing but I’m sure he was just a little gassed and needed to regroup. I would’ve liked to see him attack more quickly once it was standing again and he noticed his opponent was wounded…I’m talking killer instinct (but it’s a minor criticism).
Regarding the knuckle head commenting on Bisbing’s son: Three things…(1) it was classless and disrespectful, (2) I’m wondering if you were just professing yourself as some sort of homophobic pedophile and (3) So what if he is? Guess what neanderthal, there are gay people on this planet…some of which whom would probably beat the ever lovin’ shit out of you for mouthing off like that.

I don’t think his son is going to be gay. The “fluttering” clapping is actually signs of autism. The moment I saw him thats what i thought of. So to who ever made that comment your an ass! He’s 6 for godsake!

bisping showed a lot of improvement here. i was rooting for kang and even though i can’t stand bisping i gotta give him credit, that was a shut out he made kang look bad.
also – it takes a real coward and scum bag to talk shit about a little kid online. real class.

CSR – Stop dissing the Neanderthals. They were tough dudes who would have kicked all of our butts in Ice Age Europe without fossil fuels, metal tools, the wheel and such.

Everybody type after me: Bis…P…ing.
BisPING, not BING-freakin-Crosby.
The correct spelling is plastered all over this site and some of you are still botching it.
And if I see anyone else type “loose” instead of “lose”, I’m going to projectile vomit.
AND…probably a bad idea to be dissing a child online, Jon. Only celebrity comedians can get away with comments like that.

This fight illustrates something that needs to be given consideration, that being the value of effective defense in scoring/judging. I’m getting sick of seeing how many fights are going to decision lately where the outcome is questionable, in which a fair scoring of defensive effectiveness could have given one fighter an advantage. In this fight, Kang gets it to the ground, but is unable to gain and/or maintain advantage due to Bisping’s defensive work. But in most judges’ eyes, because Kang initiated the takedown and maintained top position, he’s assumed octagon control and is therefore winning the round (or gaining points in the round). I, for one, do not care for this presumptive thinking. In nearly every other sport, good defense gains an advantage of some type. In the NFL, if a team executes a sack, interception, or blocked field goal, it either gains advantage or neutralizes that of the opponent. The same should apply to scoring in MMA. I dare say if there were a more comprehensive standard of scoring that included/factored effective defense, some recent results would have been much different.
Also, I’m no expert, but it does look a bit like Bisping’s son might indeed have some kind of affective disorder going on, so two thumbs down on taking pot-shots at him.
