Henderson doesn’t deserve a title shot. After that unsportsmanlike 2nd punch, he should be suspended from the UFC. In my opinion it was worse than Babalu not releasing David Heath from the Anaconda choke. He was trying to punish Bisping, plain as day, and that has no place in this sport.

the second punch by hendo was part of the sport and well within the rules. these guys are animals and are not supposed to stop until the ref stops the fight, so i would think that two punches thrown inside of seven seconds wouldnt be unsportsman like. GAZZ your an idiot! the brits do not dominate the sport, there isnt a single race that does you thick headed bender!!!!

To comment on the after knockout hit that henderson threw, he did do it purpose. (He actually admits to it in the aftermatch interview. I bought the ppv so I saw that part.) Joe asks him if he knew Bisping was out at that point, Hendo’s response was, “O yea. The first punch was to win, the elbow was to shut him up.”

jeremy is bang on and diesel youve obviously taken a bang to the head, this is a sport for sportsmen not lord of the rings so leave your tired idealogies at home with your mother, henderson was out of line to deliver that 2nd blow however the sport does demand that kind of brutality, the rampage jackson chuck liddell fight, rampage dropped liddell then hit on the floor out of neccesity rather than anger, this is also true in the anthony johnson kevin burns 2 match up, thats fine it just solidifies your win, it happens, god, its happened to me, but i object to henderson hitting him again knowing he was ko’d out of sheer malice

I was cheering for Dan Henderson in this fight, but after that elbow and commenting to Joe that he knew Bisping was out (how could he not?) and hit him for revenge I don’t want to see Hendo do anything in the UFC except get his ass kicked. Yeah Bisping needed a beating to teach him his place, but does he deserve brain damage? He was out cold for like 10 f’ing minutes!!! I hope Henderson does get a shot at Silva, and I hope Silva messes him up so bad he can’t remember his own name. This from a former Olympian, way to set an example Dan. You wanna fight like that? Go scrap in the back yard with Kimbo.. then we’ll see how tough you really are.. piece of ****.

Bisping got owned the entire fight. Even his corner knew it if you listened to them between rounds.

You guys seem to argue about that second punch, but that’s what we pay to see …that was the highlight of the $45 I spent..GSP fight was so one sided, Lesner fight was over too quick..so that knocked was the best part of the night. This is UFC after all

thank you Gazz im an american unfortunatley. power isnt everything technicality and strength and the best things to have when yur a ufc fighter. and clearly bisping had both he got lucky because just as he let his guard down a little he threw in the punch. he kept trying to get the right hand in but michael was too fast for that oaf!

Even though Henderson threw the 2nd punch for revenge, it doesn’t matter. Bisping was already sleep when he received that punch so he felt nothing.

Gazz – Henderson was the aggressor. He stuffed a takedown attempt (and laughed at it). He hurt Bisping twice before knocking his ass out. In other words, Henderson was winning before… Winning.
And… The Ultimate Fighter has a lot of mid-level fighters in it. Check out their records before even before fighting on the show. Most are nothing to brag about.
Lisa – “Clearly Bisping” had both? Maybe in his dreams when he was asleep for a few minutes after getting hit with the right hand of Henderson… Bisping was running scared the entire fight. Henderson knew he’d eventually catch him with the right. He talked about it post-fight.
You’re right, Lisa! Bisping was too fast for Henderson, as you said. The knockout never happened. o.O
Henderson would beat Bisping 10 times out of 10 fights. I just wish he would have taken Bisping down for some ground-and-pound. Henderson’s ground-and-pound is up there with the best in MMA. It’s vicious.

Bisping had that fight? You are 100% fanboi-delusional. He did nothing at all. Henderson just stalked him the entire time and threw right hands, because he knew it would connect at some point. Again, he talked about it post-fight.
And if you think Henderson can only throw right hands, then you haven’t seen him fight before. He’s an elite wrestler and one of the top ground-and-pound fighters there is.
I find it comical that you’re so butthurt, you have to make excuses for Bisping getting his head cranked.

I loved watching Bisping get knocked out! It was awesome! Anyone rooting for Bisping is an asshole anyway. The dude is an asshole, talked mad shit to a guy that kept his cool and fucked him up when the time was right! “You know WHA I mean?” Dan is the man! That had to be one of the most official knockouts and finishes to a fight. For anyone to try and dispute the outcome is an idiot. Simple as that.
