I’m avoiding headlines until this gets posted. Did you see the difference in leg size in the weigh-in photos? I hope Carano mule-kicked ‘Borg around the cage all night.

Damn Cyborg is no joke! I dont think a woman alive can beat her. whats up w/ Gina not securing those overhooks and also just standing up from the mount?

Cyborg is a man or serious roid abuser.
No way in hell is that body from hard work alone.
Whats with Gina, she is a Muay Thai fighter and lost the stand up to a BBJ specialist??? Then she gases out halfway through the round.
Only Female MMA match up worth watching and it was a let down.

man, wasn’t worth going through one million pop-ups, pop-unders, and fade-in ads to see this fight. i agree with the guy above, why did gina release the mount? that was her best chance, although cyborg was bucking so many she knocked her off?

Side show? People like you are the reason none of MMA gets taken seriously go crawl back under a rock dude. Cyborg was too strong for Carano and it showed Gina is use to being the bigger stronger fighter and Cyborg dominated her. I hope Carano continues to fight, she needs a better ground game however and much respect to Cyborg. Also Carano let Cyborg up because Cyborg continuously outclassed her on the ground if you watch closely she kept almost getting leg submissions even before Gina stood up her leg had slipped back between Cyborgs. The guy above was the only one that said something decent… I’m from Brazil but,like everyone else, I’ve been in love with Gina… and I picked her to win this one… I thought she’d be able to wheather the storm in the early rounds and come back, since she’s really strong too, and had been showing better conditioning when compared to Cyborg… But Cyborg was just overall stronger, faster and thus dominated Gina completely… But hey, Gina will be back… this was good for her carrer… It’s like when GSP lost to Matt Hughes back then (although Gina is not that good yet). Like the French Canadian, she will be back better and stronger… right now she cant’ beat cyborg, but I think she will defeat Cyborg someday!

I was really disappointed in this fight. I couldn’t believe that Gina was getting her ass handed to her on the feet. Not only that, she reversed two of Cyborg’s takedowns, ended up in mount twice, and could have finished the fight (twice). Hopefully this is motivation to Gina to really pull a 180. No disrespect to Cyborg though, nice handing of the ass.

Cyborg is either a man or has been on HGH for awhile. I think this person should be tested to see if it’s really female. It has an adams apple, with male bone structure!

man i cant believe people really thought gina was gonna win. i mean i wanted her to but when i saw cyborgs highlights i knew she was gonna win. her striking is better her ground game is better and the bitch is built like a man and is strong as fuck. she was tossing gina around. i wanted gina to win and when she had her mounted and started bangng away i was lik oh shit she has a great chance and then cyborg got out of it so easily after a few shots. gina looked too nervous. looked like she didnt give it her best shot. she looked intimmidated. there should be a rematch and gina should go balls out

Man! It looks like Cyborg is on steroid. Carona has no power in her punches. From one angle, Cyborg looks huge compared to Carona.

i agree with leo gina will be back stronger than ever!!!she could have won that fight but she was sloppy covering up to much and kept giving up her back!i still love her

Is it possible that Cyborg is just blessed with some really muscular genetics and doesn’t use roids? I’m sure she’s had to work extremely hard to put on that much muscle, and it’s rude to assume that she cheats by roiding. Anyway she’s obviously seriously tough and showed Gina that there’s another level to be obtained by womens MMA. Good for her, and Gina’s not going anywhere.
