Gilbert is too big of a lightweight for Ishida. He was able to neutralize Ishida w/ his longer reach and stuff the takedown attempts. Can’t wait for Melendez vs. Thomson. Thomson will pick him apart again tho.

the lil guy was holding his own til he got rocked. i like melendez. dont quite know the rules for strikeforce yet besides that they cant elbow on the ground which i think is bullshit. just like ufc not being able to kick and knee to the head while their on the ground is bullshit. whatever though. melendez cant hang with none of the guys in the ufc though thats for sure.
