Un-fucking-believable. This entire event was completely off the charts.

GSP has a target on his head. I hope he can keep his head and not let us all down.

THE TARGET IS THAT EVERY OTHER CHAMPION IN EVERY WEIGHT CLASS HAS HAD TO TAKE SOME SERIOUS PUNISHMENT IN ORDER TO GET TO THE TOP. GSP HAS ( W/ THE EXCEPTION OF THE SERRA I FLUKE) WALKED, WALTZED AND TAP DANCED OVER EVERY OPPONENT HE HAS EVER HAD = W/ THE SOLE EXCEPTION OF GSP VS HUGHES 1 — AFTER WHICH HE AVENGED — TWICE == AND WHICH APPARENTLY LEARNED FROM.
THE DAY GSP LOSES — AND DOES NOT COME BACK, WILL BE THE DAY HE LOSES HIS DESIRE TO COMPETE IN THE SPORT. WHEN THIS DAY COMES, HE WILL RETIRE LEAVING A LEGAGY UNLIKE ANY ONE ELSE HAS EVER DISPLAYED — HE HAS OUT BOXED THE BOXERS, OUT WRESTLED THE WRSETLERS AND SUBMITTED THE JJ EXPERTS. ALL W/OUT HARDLY ANY FORMAL TRAINING UNTIL HE REACHED THE UFC.
A TRUE, NATURAL FIGHTER WHO HAS IN HIS HUMILITY BEEN ABLE TO ABSORB EVERYTHING HE’S EVER BEEN EXPOSED TO AND PERFECTED IT.
THERE IS NO WAY HE WILL HAVE LET ANYONE DOWN ==
WE ARE NOW EXPERIENCING THE PRIVILAGE OF SEEING IN HIS PRIME, ANOTHER MICKEY MANTEL/WILLY MAYS/ GALE SAYERS/ OR PELE. ENJOY IT WHILE IT LASTS —
THERE WILL BE LOTS OF FUTURE CHAMPS, BUT FEW AND RARE ARE THE ONES WHO MAKE IT LOOK SO EASY AGAINST COMPETITORS WHO HAVE CRUSHED ALL OTHERS BEFORE THEM.

Phil, I couldn’t have said it better. True GSP fans believe the same things you wrote. That was awesome of you! Zacchaeus, come on man!! Gotta show the love for Georges, he’s a true pleasure to watch and I think we could all learn something from his personality! Respectfull to all, I mean all!! And truly learns from his mistakes.

You don’t even have to be a GSP fan or even a fight fan, just a fan of athletics. My mother normally hates fights, but I was visiting when UFC 87 aired and watched intently and commented of how graceful GSP moved — she watched his entire fight and loved it — after having left the room while the others fought before him. She also stayed for the last round of the Florian / Huerta fight for the same reason — of GSP, she stated that he moves like a cat on the hunt.
Who would ever think the majority of the world would ever become devoted fan of gymnastics, yet every four years even if you didn’t mean to, you are glued to the Olympics in that category. Something inside won’t allow you to look away as these athletes execute their routines in such a manner that leaves you in awe. You have to admire the natural athleticism, grace and unbelievable degree of control with which they execute their moves. This is GSP.
The problem is too many people don’t like the French. After spending several summers traveling — sometimes in France — I must say a lot of them act like real pricks towards Americans. Though this attitude is mostly found in Paris and other major cities, and the French people in the smaller towns are as nice as can be, it does leave a bad taste in your mouth — plus, hating the French is a great, and often funny American pastime!
What dumb asses like ol’ Zacchaeus may not realize is that French is the official language of Quebec — which is in Canada; ie: our friends. Girls love GSP’s accent. However, with a lot of guys a french accent brings out the redneck in them!
