Why did they cut that fight so damn short??I don’t understand that!
How can this be a split decision?(lots of questions today!)
A split decision’s not 2-1 round,this fight was a split decision because a judge gave at least 2 rounds to Penn,and that is impossible!

Cutting that fight so short was a bad idea cuz we don’t see BJ’s face when they called the winner.

GSP won the fight!
the 1 round bj won but it was because of the poke in the eye! and the nose clip that change the fight! making it a split desicion , and gsp won the last 2 rounds clearly! so in this sport are rules in scoring , agression , takedowns , octagon control , not damage to the face speacilly for poke in the eyes and nose clips!
so in MMA Gsp won the fight by winning 2 rounds and bj only 1 , so split desicion or not WINNING IS WINNING!
UFC 94 GSP BY KO!! IN THE 3! HELL YEAH!

I can see why they said GSP won but overall, BJ had no signs that he was hurt or lost a fight. BJ looked like he went for a jog (only sweating). Meanwhile, GSP looked like someone put a meatpounder to his face.

Thanks for posting the fight. After review, it was clear that GSP won the last 2 rounds. Even the first one close if you count the punches that landed. Don’t be deceived by the eye poke and nose clip.

Lastly, funny how the worst judge in MMA, Cecile Peoples, was the only judge to give Penn the fight. Enough said.
