he says he doesn’t care much for lyoto’s style. ican understand that. its hard for fighters who are used to go toe to toe in alltheir fights to get a grip on an ellusive karateka that waits for the right shot. its not so much not liking lyoto’s style, it’s much more not understanding it. some guys don’t get that he would much rather wait for the killshot,then to go all out.

Even so…I don’t take his words to mean that he “wants no part of Lyoto Machida”. Forrest has a very dry sense of humor and often poses things facetiously. He’ll fight anybody…I think he just isn’t looking forward to having to figure Machida out. The Silva fight will tell the tale. If he wins that one, chances are he’ll be able to muster a plan for Machida.

Geez…Forrest looks and sounds STONED here. I know he’s not the most eloquent speaker in the crowd, but I’ve seen him more lucid than this in other interviews. Maybe it’s just ego starting to ooze out.

Rua and Forrest are the only ones who might give Lyoto a run for his money. Outside of the UFC, I think Mousasi and Vitor have a good shot as well vs. Lyoto.
