also, if you’ve never watched Fedor, he has been hurt a few times in his fights but he has never been on the verge of taken out. he can get himself out of nasty situations by improvising and has great hips and practical knowledge of applying submissions at any point. For god’s sakes, Hong Man Choi is 7 feet tall and almost 400 pounds. Would Brock lesnar fight him? Hell no. He would be beaten, I have no doubt about it. Fedor will fight anyone.

What’s with Rogers’ nasty long fingernails? disgusting. Anyway I am a huge mma fan and have followed Fedor as a fan big time since 2006. He is an amazing fighter, and no one can compare to him (so far). he is far from unbeatable, as anyone can lose on any given day. People don’t give him the respect he deserves. He hasn’t ever LOST, only got disqualified by a cut in a tournament. That is unbelievable vs. the competition he has faced.

yeah fedor postured up like bruce lee. Fedor takes risk, had rogers took risk and had the speed and skill to back it up, he might have won.

I was very impressed by rogers i expected less from him. And fedor didnt dissipoint his fighting is explosive, it truely lives up and delivers on his reputation. kinda lame how rogers kept holding on the cage and even did a couple of low knees, fedor was unphased and just pushed him off, lol it was awesome. I think fedor woulda landed the armbar in round one had it not been for the blood lubricating the situation. The ppl that it was close just have a bias against fedor. A lot of us have only knownabout fedor for a year, we are pretty unbiased. I think Cain, Mir, Lesnar, Overeem, and even Hendo would be good fights for fedor. Cain has been popped on steriods though. Mir prob currently juices.

fighter4life : i agree with you, but fedor IS human, only mentally very strong, he leads a spartan and peacefull life. Surelly there will be a day he will loose, but he isn’t scared of that like all others from ufc. Rogers was in his prime but since he cried after fight like a pussy he won’t come back to be stronger. same with Cro Cop, after loosing to Fedor he never recovered.

I love how Fedor “hasn’t fought any true challengers” and is “untested” Just because the people he beat aren’t exactly superstars NOW doesn’t mean they weren’t at one time!!! In their primes, both Nogueira AND Mirko Filipovic aka Crocop were arguably the best heavyweights in the world. Until Fedor came onto the scene, of course The only fedor fight i’ve ever seen where Fedor deserved a loss was against Ricardo Arona in a Rings competition… Arona dominated him with brute strength and wrestling HOWEVER, Brock Lesnar is NOWHERE near as good as Arona, and while i kinda respect him… He wouldn’t be a match for Fedor. Fedor just ins’t human enough for that

it was a exciting fight but if you watched closely roger only landed on the feet one solid punch (a jab that broke fedors nose),on the ground about 5 good ones,and a nice sweep other than that it was all fedor

Fedor was clearly the better fighter. Why was the announcer asking about a rematch? Brett is still new to the sport he is lucky to get the chance to fight Fedor once another fight would just be boring. Alistair Overeem would be a better fight and more of a challenge for Fedor imo.

and as for all you people sucking Brocks nuts… Brock is 32 (not getting any younger), he just started fighting, he only has 4 wins, he lost to Frank Mir, he just was to afraid to fight Shane Carwin (because he got sick), at best even if he wins EVERY fight for the next 6 years before he has to retire, he will finish the sport with a record of 16 wins 1 loss… He will never be as great as Fedor. Look up the long list of Fedor’s accomplishments and compare them to the 4 wins of Lesnar. ….. On top of that there is about a 90 percent chance that Fedor would go into the cage and fuck Brock up even though there is a 50lbs weight advantage to Brock.

UFC currently just does NOT have a fighter of the same level as Fedor. As for Dana. He wants to “own” Fedor rather than co-promote with M-1, which will be to M-1’s advantage not Dana’s. Is that clear enough?

People dont understand

Fedor would have signed with UFC if they did a co-promotion with M-1.
Dana was not willing to do so.
therefore Dana is not willing to have the best MMA fighter because of money.

Now Dana blames Fedor for not signing, when they deal could have already been done

Also Dana could have bought the 1 fight left on the Affliction contract, but was scared that Fedor would beat their best fighter and never come back making it even more difficult to meet his agreements

Well Brett did do better then expected, Yeah both guys landed some big hits in the 1st round but Brett hit Fedor like no tomorrow FROM HIS GUARD!.But i love how Fedor used the arm bar to escape the assault.Dont get me wrong Fedor dominated if you watch this fight 2-3 times and you can see how much better he did compared to Brett(Dont mind the blood that’s just to throw you off he took those hits like a champ still).And Brett needs to learn respect because at the end of that fight he seemed REALLY angry about his loss, he shouldn’t be he did “Ok” in my eyes.But time to do a change of heart.LESNER WOULD DOMINATE FEDOR, think about it he would do the SIMPLE THING he dose every fight, Take-down/ground and pound and get real you guys someone with a BJJ level as good as Franks couldn’t move for shit when Brock had him pined it was like a truck was on him.And in my eyes Fedor has a lesser ground game then Frank… I think he would get smashed,But you guys could probably give 2 shits about my opinion on Brock and Fedor because ALOT of you are in your own little world on how Fedor cant be beat.
