arlovski’s weak chin proves costly once again. great fighter but cant take a punch
January 25th, 2009 at 6:53 am
Can’t take a punch? Maybe you’re right, but I don’t think many people could have take that one; both men were in a front motion.

Ya right fedor was gona get knocked out, arlavski was dominating the fight with straight punches and for the first time in fadors career he looked frustrated. Taking nothing away from fedor though the guys a pimp
January 25th, 2009 at 8:52 am
FLYING KNEE………WHY!
Arlovski needed to just stay out of range and make it a Decision match but fedor took advantage of a mistake so there is nothing lucky about that punch.Dont get me wrong i wanted Arlovski to win and i thought he was gonna do it.
Well done Fedor and nice showing Arlovski.
January 25th, 2009 at 12:25 pm
Poopy are you kidding me? First time Fedor was frustrated? Already forgot about the Hunt fight?

January 26th, 2009 at 12:37 pm
the fador fight was weeaakk!!
eventhough i like fedor i really think arlovski should have won this fight!!! unlucky.
January 26th, 2009 at 7:16 pm
Fedor looks very bad, out of range, he won by a lucky punch
The Arlovski speed were to much for Fedor, no one put Fedor into the corner like that, and what a good kick by Andre, just one mistake and is over
Fedor don’t looks like a great champion

wow …any 1 saying arlovski should have won…..you should all try watching other tournaments beside ufc…believe it or not ufc has some of the worst fighters in the world. have any of you even watch pridefc? if you want to see some real fighters and some fights where fedor actually shows why he is the best watch pride, ufc bores me to death compared to it. arlovski is a great fighter yes… but saying he was going to knock out fedor is just plain stupid. he is by no means even close to being fedor’s toughest fight and NO he was not frustrated..

I’m not seeing the dominate round by Arlovski that everyone else is. It was a relatively uneventful first couple minutes, with Arlovski going for a traditional point style boxing, and Fedor looking to counter. A couple exchanges happened, with no clear winner (a slight edge to Arlo.) Then, Fedor blocks a kick and scores a KO on AA in mid-flight.

Fedor is by far the best fighter in MMA whom ever doubts is obviously blind and stupid. Arlovski shouldnt have never been in the same ring as Fedor knowing he does not have what it takes to beat a champion. Look at the fight with Mirko Crokop they went all 5 rounds and mirko is a better fighter then arlovski that proves to everyone right there! Even fedor said himself ” I like to give my competitors a sence of accomplishment before i dominate them in a fight.” so f*ck who ever says different about fedor besides that he is the F**king Best. Its not like i wanna take him on a date but he is bad!!

Bang bang, he shot me down
Bang bang, I hit the ground
Bang bang, that awful sound
Bang bang, my baby shot me down.
HAHAHAHA!!

Fedor is the best heavyweight in the world. Anyone contesting that Arlovski should have won doesn’t know anything about the sport. Fedor was clearly fighting passively to get Arlovski on the offensive. This is the exact opposite of how he fought in his previous match against Tim Sylvia. The man has perfected every aspect of the sport and it’s a strategy to be unpredictable. The fight as well as Fedor’s strategy was perfectly executed, nice win.

Fedor is the Best MMA Fighter of al time and who ever says Arlovski should have won ? , well , they must have seen somthing else , Fedor is a perfect fighting machine, who have concard every areas of the game , there is no one came come closer to the skills he got.Arlovski was lucky to stay in the ring at least few minutes with Fedor.
Well done Fedor and All the very Best !!

March 8th, 2009 at 1:48 pm
the emperor now a matador..fedor is the most versatile fighter.to stand and look like a weak one is a trp style to dominate somebody who fels confident in a match… “he did it the fedor way”

FEDOR IS KING. Man, this guy is a monster! I wonder who Fedor will fight next.
July 12th, 2009 at 8:57 am
everyone calls him the true top heavyweight in the world, but I don’t see him havin a punchers chance against Lesnar. I hope he comes to the UFC and Brock pours cold coors light on his unconsious corpse.

There ought to be a bloody IQ test to post on the Internet. I take nothing away from Fedor up to this point, but if he insists on continuing to avoid the UFC, then he CANNOT continue to claim “World’s Best” status, nor can you brainwashed Pride fans. You people sit around spewing off about how your graven image idol Fedor is GOD, and when it comes down to walking the walk, your boy hides behind his management. His career is going to END BADLY if he does not begin fighting top-tier talent. I do not claim that the UFC is the best top-to-bottom, but in the top 3-5 slots at every weight class, they are. The UFC is home to somewhere around 90% of the world’s top 100 MMA fighters. That is not an accident, and it’s only going to continue. I liked Pride as much as the UFC, and agree that in some areas, they had what the UFC was missing. NOT ANYMORE. The top Pride guys (except your “God”) came to the UFC and we all saw what happened. So STOP with your fanboy whining about how bad the UFC is, and your illegible, delusional, illiterate comments about “American morons” and admit the obvious truth: Fedor cannot remain “best” by proclamation…HE MUST come to the UFC and prove his dominance. Perhaps in other areas of life you can rest on your laurels and survive indefinitely off of reputation. NOT in combat sports. The very nature of combat DEMANDS AND REQUIRES THE ACCEPTANCE OF A CHALLENGE, and performance commensurate with one’s alleged abilities. If one chooses to refuse that challenge, they CANNOT lay claim to the title of “Best”. That’s how it works. Get over it. Could we say that Roger Federer is the best tennis player in the world if he did not consistently play and defeat the top contenders in nearly every tournament? Same with Tiger Woods? Michael Phelps? Can the Lakers just “opt out” of the playoffs and assume the championship by default? NO. NEVER. And so it is with Fedor. If he refuses to compete where the best competition is, he CANNOT be proclaimed the best in the world.
August 2nd, 2009 at 2:06 am
And another thing…no, Arlovski “shouldn’t” have won. When someone gets knocked out, they “shouldn’t” win anything. The more operative phrase is “COULD HAVE”. Yes, he could have. There are other guys that could as well, but until your idol wises up and begins making correct business decisions for himself, we’ll never know.

I would love to see fedor against machida.
And brock would lose from fedor. Why? Because brocks runs him down like an animal, and fedor uses a submission move to end him. Just like hong man choi. One big dude, and tapt out like a baby.
Kurt Angle defeated him in wrestling, imagine what fedor would do to him.
