At least the UFC will put on a better show than Strikeforce. Fedor vs Rogers was the only best fight on there. Other fighters didn’t even try to finish the fights. Bonuses make fighters fight.

“Fedor vs Rogers was the only best fight on there.” First of all that sentence makes no sense whatsoever, and second, you’re crazy. 3 of the 4 fights were better than anything I’ve seen in the UFC for a long time… And Dana knows it…

I think your both way off… first of all, the strikeforce card was solid throughout but probably the fact that the main event was such a success did make the other fights seem better too in retrospect. But to say that this was better than anything youve seen from the UFC in awhile and Dana knows it is ridiculous. UFC puts on exciting cards EVERY SINGLE MONTH people. What does Strikeforce have after this ? True they are a growing company with a growing but albeit very small list of big name fighters (Fedor, Shields, Mousasi, Diaz, Henderson ??) they have a long way to go. UFC has enough depth to put on cards month after month. Strikeforce will find it hard to repeat the success of this card but as long as Fedor keeps the momentum going, who knows ? if only he could fight every month.

I don’t think that UFC puts on exciting cards every month, not even close. I think that they USED TO, and that very soon they will again, but I do think that they are currently in a slump. I like the UFC, I love it, but lately I have found it very lack luster… Have you seen the card lined up for the year end bash (108)? Its pathetic. I’m not saying it’s Dana Whites fault though, with the majority of his champs sick or injured. I do agree with you in one regard though, what does Strikeforce have after this? Maybe not much. I’m not a UFC hater or a Strikeforse or Fedor nuthugger, but I really haven’t been happy with what UFC has put on in the last 8 or 9 months, and really did genuinely enjoy this Strikeforce event…
I’m not saying that Dana White should be scared of Strikeforce, I know that’s a bit ridiculous, but I don’t see how he could have watched Saturdays Strikeforce card, and not realized that it really was stronger than his recent events.

Scratch that 8 or 9 months. I think that it has been weak for just 4 or 5, but in my opinion, very weak.

Any thoughts on the Bisping / Kang fight?

I watched the strikeforce card and to be honest, i thought it was quite poor other than the main event, was really looking forward to the miller fight but that was a big let down…
And DMan, Bisping via decision
