Christie Cartwright WEC Ring Girl Photo Gallery

A Bay Area native who now makes her home in San Luis Obispo, Christie Cartwright has always been around the world of sports, having competed in everything from dance and gymnastics to swimming and volleyball. So when she was approached by WEC co-founder Scott Adams about working for a mixed martial arts organization, after some careful research, she jumped at the chance.
“I started working for the WEC exclusively, and the rest is history,” said Ms. Cartwright, who studied Communications as well as wine and viticulture for three years at Cal Poly University before graduating in June of 2007. “Within just two years, the WEC has gone from being a barely known brand, to a worldwide phenomenon with fights in Vegas and over 75 million viewers.”
And while fans at home and at the events are glad this blonde beauty is on board with the WEC, she feels just as appreciative to be part of the fastest rising sport in the world.
