Great win for J.K. I’m a huge “Rumble” fan, and I’ve also always been a fan of Koschecks wrestling. Great fight, minus the eyepokes. I was personally hoping for G.S.P. to annihilate Hardy so I can see this Rumble/G.S.P. fight, but now I can’t WAIT for Hardy to get whooped and see Koscheck face G.S.P. for the title. I believe that’s what the fans really want to see right now.

Josh koscheck is a peace of shit. He CLEARLY faked that knee to the head/poke to the eye or was it the other eye. Hell that faking bastard couldnt even remember which eye he may have gotten poked in. I FUCKING HATE THIS GUY. he should be banned from the ufc for that shit.

it would been a hell of a good fight if all thos eye pokes didnt fuckin happened and idk about that knee/eyepoke to koscheck that was bullshit but other than those things damn good stand up

what was kos “recovering” from? a defended takedown attempt? you guys just started watching mma, huh? koscheck was clearly dominant with grappling and deserves the rematch with gsp. he’s the last guy to win a round against him and mark my words nothing short of a matt serra 2 (lucky punch) will save this uk guy from getting destroyed. Hardy hardly deserves a shot at even koscheck or fitch.

Erm, koscheck was CLEARLY thumbed in the eye, watch it again, there are screencaps all over aswell showing it, i hate koscheck, and i wish rumble would have destroyed him but he certainly didn’t cheat…

Thank you Jon for posting that, everyone was so focused on the illegal knee to the head that they missed the eye gouge one second before that happened. I am glad someone else paid attention.

I sure do not see why everyone hates Koscheck. He’s a heck of a fighter, no matter how much people hate him. I thought Johnson would have won this matchup, but I stand corrected. I am glad to see Koscheck win, and although Rogan kept talking about an eye poke and searching for it, what he should have done is rewind it just enough to see the actual eye poke done by Johnson, which came before the knee and head slap.
They never once thought about going back a little further. Heck, if I can’t see something in the footage I view, then I would think if it happened, then it must be back a little further. Too bad Rogan and side kick could never think of it.
There was no eye gouging when Koscheck was choking the sh*t out of Johnson. SO hate Koscheck all you want. It’ll only get you feeling worse. Right? The guy you hate, won the fight. I sure would hate that. What was it that he did that was so bad to hate him for? Something back in TUF?
Remember one thing: there is no TV to watch, and no phone calls. Nothing but a house full of aggressive men, who fight for a living. Nothing to do. Women are not even in the picture. They have no video games to play and better not get caught with any of that, either. It is all contraband. They had nothing to do but fu*k with the people they disliked. Do not show any weakness, because all the others will pounce. That is life.

Funny how many people pull the “you just started watching MMA 5 minutes ago” card when they disagree with the way someone else sees a fight. Try an intelligent rebuttal next time. If that accusation were true in every instance it has been used on this site, then nearly every damn person that watches video here “just started watching” MMA. Tired.
And, there are no “lucky” punches. Throw + connect = result.

I will agree Koscheck was not “recovering” from anything, nor do i think he was using the eyepoke/knee as an excuse for anything.
I do not see a direct eyepoke, however, and the links above aren’t clear enough to prove it.
What I do see is Johnson’s hand swiping across the left side of Kos’s face just after the knee, which does appear to slide across his left eye. So IMO, Rogan’s comment that the hand never touches the left eye is wrong. So this might be another case of viewers being influenced by Rogan’s words.
The only other thing I see is that Johnson actually knees Koscheck’s arm into his own face, right over the left eye. If Kos wasn’t sweaty yet, his dry arm could have rolled his eyelid. That happened to me in a wrestling match once, and my eye swelled to the size of a golf ball.
Whatever the case, I don’t see it as Koscheck using it to gain any kind of advantage.

Johnson kneed Koschek while he was on the ground, there’s no need for an eye poke to have an excuse to recover, koscheck can take all the time he wants to recover from that knee, even if it didn’t hit his eye. As simple as that.

Wow, you can clearly tell koscheck was looking for a little break, he needed to rethink his game plan. the replay shows that the knee never hit his left eye.
