   lyoto isnt a fool. his ground game is good but he knew to keep his distance and pick his shots. he is a smart fighter and though not exciting hes a great fighter…. let it be known that lyoto’s not muay tai, he’s not kenpo, or even a jits guy; he’s the finest thai quan do fighter we’ve seen in a long time. I didn’t enjoy the fight cuz i love enjoy a good ass kicker of a fight; but it was good to see someone who’s got brains and didn’t brawl it out like so many fighters today do. hats off to lyoto and the way he fights. Oh!!!!!!!! lemme not forget to say, good riddance to “the huntington beach bad boy” because im sure we’ve had enough of mr. mediocre. and his so so ability. he was the greatest at one point but sometimes we’ve got to know when we’re outmatched or just not ready anymore. andyr

   After the “Huntington Beach Bad Boy” got his world rawked by Liddell, and started dating that one broad, his talent and skill went down the toilet. He’ll never be a threat or a real contender anymore in the UFC. He might as well give it up and retire now. Because if I see that blonde haircut again in the octagon, I’m going to flip a bitch.

   Being the fan of an exciting fighter is like sleeping with a stripper. Its the best feeling in the world for the 18 seconds it lasts. All the risks they take to make themselves flashy and fun to watch get them caught eventually, and they eventually become disappointments. (i.e.- Alovski, Hughes, liddell, Wanderlei, Ortiz, Gomi, Kerr.) Towarss the end of their careers the just fall off. After 1 or 2 losses they lose confidence and its a slide. Being a fan of a fighter like lyoto is like being married to a fat german woman. You’ll be well fed, but nothing special ever happens. Fighters like lyoto have the longest strongest careers.

   who say’s lyoto is thai quan do ( taekwondo )fighter? hey andy you certainly don’t know your martial arts..you can’t even tell a fighter’s discipline from his stance..he’s a shotokan karate with jiu-jitsu..that’s his discipline since a young kid..

    I dont have the love or hate for Machida that others do. I appreciate the skill he has, but Ill take a Wanderlei Silva, go out swinging approach any day.

    i agree with almost everyone especially the person that said since tito got with jenna his game has been on even more of a slide but to me tito was out classed by a guy who always fights like this so obviously someone didnt watch fight footage and train FOR machida typical ortiz feelin like he could just come in and dominate when that shit hasn’t happened in years
